About Sunni Mercier

For Sunni, one of the most rewarding parts of dog training is seeing the relationship between a dog and its owner grow stronger. She enjoys watching both dogs and handlers gain confidence as they learn to communicate more clearly and work together.

Sunni strives to help her clients develop the same kind of trusting relationships she enjoys with her own dogs. Whether she is working on off-leash obedience, leash pulling, or reactivity, her approach emphasizes consistency, clear expectations, and strengthening the connection between dog and owner.

Through Board and Train programs and private lessons, Sunni works with each dog and owner toward practical skills they can continue reinforcing in everyday life.

Sunni’s Training Philosophy

Sunni believes consistency matters. Following through with expectations and reinforcing good behavior helps dogs better understand what is expected of them and gives owners a clearer framework for continuing training at home.

Training Tip From Sunni: “Consistency matters. If we always follow through and expect the best, the dog will consistently offer those good behaviors.”
