About Cara O’Leary

Cara loves helping owners experience how much more enjoyable everyday life can be with a dog that listens and responds reliably. With a decade of training experience and more than 1,000 dogs trained, she brings extensive hands-on experience to the dogs and families she works with.

Whether she is helping build puppy foundations, improve off-leash obedience, or work through aggression-related challenges, Cara emphasizes the importance of owner involvement and consistency. She believes putting in the work is rewarding and encourages owners to listen to their trainer, stay committed, and continue reinforcing what their dog has learned.

Cara also holds a degree in Biological Sciences, adding an academic background to her years of practical dog training experience.

Cara’s Training Philosophy

Cara believes successful training takes patience, consistency, and commitment from the owner. Dogs may test boundaries along the way, but staying consistent with expectations helps reinforce the behaviors and skills developed during training.

Training Tip From Cara: “Always be more stubborn than your dog.”
