2 Week Aggressive Dog Board and Train

Description

This 2-week program is a program that focuses on dogs with reactivity and/or aggression issues pertaining to other dogs, animals or people. This program will include practical, everyday obedience as the foundation for working on the reactivity/aggression issues. This program provides a little bit of everything, including manners and socialization (dogs and people) as well as desensitization to the things that are triggers for the aggressive behavior.

NOTE: (“being around” dogs and people- no physical interactions are permitted for safety of the dogs and the people. This program does NOT guarantee fixing aggression as it is impossible to guarantee that but we will focus on fixing the behavior as mush as possible while using the training to help manage and control the behavior. The training and rehabilitation of such behaviors can be a long process and this program “starts” that process and will be up to you to maintain and continue to work on establishing the desired behavior of your dog) 

 

NOTE: Your dog will be trained to listen off leash in specific environments however depending on your dogs reactivity and/or aggression training off leash will be limited to safe environments. The level of off leash training will be at the discretion of Off Leash K9 Training based on the level of your dogs behavior issues and capabilities.

 

NOTE: Lifetime refreshers are for the life of the dog while in your care. If you transfer ownership of your dog to a new person, that new person must pay for a refresher/turnover to learn the proper techniques from one of our certified trainers. The cost to the new owner will be $200 for a dog that completed the 1 week board and train and $300 for a dog that completed the 2 week board and train.

 

This program is for dogs 5mos and older

All behaviors are taught with high-level distraction proofing. This program offers the following:

Sit and Extended Sit (Dog remains in position until released)
Down and Extended Down
Loose Leash walking
Come on command (outside with distractions)
Greeting Manners (not jumping)
Waiting politely at doors and gates (wait when they are opened until you release them)
Waiting politely for meals (wait until they are released)
Minor unwanted behaviors (ie. jumping, counter surfing, unwanted things in mouth, digging, etc..)
Focusing on reactivity and aggression issues.
Training with distractions (dogs and people) NOTE: we will have your dog “around” dogs and people- no physical interactions are permitted for safety of the dogs)
Place and Extended Place (Jump up and sit on any object you point to on command and stay there until released)
Lifetime warranty (Free refresher classes for the life of your dog)
NOTE* Lifetime warranty consists of one on one refresher lesson with your trainer at our facility to “refresh” on any of the guaranteed commands taught in the board and train as listed above. Any other issues (ex. aggressive behaviors, new commands or anything not related to the guaranteed commands listed above) is NOT covered by the warranty and would require paid lesson(s)
NOTE** If for any reason you request your dog to go home earlier than the required days of this program you risk voiding the lifetime warranty.

After completion of the training, the owner will be provided with a 2 to 3-hour one-on-one session which will detail everything their companion does, how to handle them, and how to properly control them.

* if your dog has any aggression or reactivity towards people, then a meet and greet with the Trainer is required prior to the board and train.
** Although we do work on other behavior issues such as dog aggression, fear, anxiety, environmental and social stresses, etc., It is impossible to guarantee fixing major behavioral issues during the 2-week board and train. We can generally make progress, depending on the dog, their ability to learn, and how bad the issues are. But we will give you control and better help manage these issues
***NOTE: Dog MUST be potty trained to go potty outside and crate trained prior to arriving. If you need help with that we can give you training videos and guidance.
****NOTE: This program is generally 3-4 mos+ booked out and only requires a $1000 deposit to hold the dates. ALL BOARD AND TRAINS ARE BOOKED IN THE ORDER RECIEVED BUT PLEASE ALLOW ABOUT 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS OR SO TO GET NEXT AVAILABLE DATES.
*****NOTE: If your female dog is not spayed yet, It is recommended to have them spayed at least 3 weeks prior to training. If she goes into heat right before training or during training then the training will have to be rescheduled and/or she will have to be sent home. If you choose not to have your dog spayed prior to training it is at your own risk that if they can’t attend  or has to go home during training that the training will have to be re-scheduled and could potentially be 3-4 mos out. if any training has occurred prior to sending your dog home, then the remaining days can be rescheduled at a later date.  There will be NO refund for the training if either occur and the training and/or remaining days will be made up at the discretion of Off Leash K9 Training’s schedule. 

Please note our cancellation/reschedule policy:
Cancellation:
If you cancel 21 days or earlier prior to the scheduled board and train, then you are entitled to a full refund. If you cancel within 21 days then there is no refund.
Any other monies paid will be refunded in the event of a cancellation within the 21 days.
Balance is due on or before the drop off date unless you are financing, then first financing payment is due on or before the drop off date and balance to be paid in installments per the credit card authorization form.

Reschedule:
If you reschedule within the 21 days of your original date then you will be charged a reschedule fee as follows:
-If you reschedule prior to 21 days then no fee is charged
-If you reschedule 14-21 days prior to your scheduled date you will be charged $100 reschedule fee
-If you reschedule 7-13 days prior to your scheduled date you will be charged a $200 reschedule fee
-If you reschedule 1-6 days prior to your scheduled date you will be charged a $300 reschedule fee
NOTE: The reschedule fee is a charge over and above your contracted amount you paid for the program
